Online Trauma Therapy

Helping adults find meaning and joy in life again.

Life's challenges can feel dark, heavy, or even impossible to deal with. Most people who start Trauma Therapy feel lost in life on some level– unsure of how to find their way. Perhaps you can relate. Maybe you feel overwhelmed by past pain and unable to live as freely and joyfully as you'd like to.

Stuck in negativity and feeling unable to live with freedom and joy, you may feel like life is exhausting.

Do You Feel Numb, Overwhelmed, Anxious?

Do any of the these resonate with you?

You lost the joyful feelings that you used to have in life.

You are in a constant state of panic and it rules your life.

You wake up every morning feeling overwhelmed and depressed.

You’re avoiding people/places/things that remind you of your pain.

If these sound true for you, I want you to know that even though you may feel alone, many people in your circumstance benefit from support. Therapy provides a non-judgemental space to receive the help and encouragement you need. Self-care is not an indulgence or a selfish act. In fact, any healing work we do often has trickle down benefits for our loved ones.

Step Back And Focus On Healing

Trauma therapy helps you rise above your challenges and start moving towards your ideal life with less suffering and more fulfillment

You will get the practical tools you need to find your way through difficult feelings and situations and finally resolve things from your past.

Even if you are not sure how a therapist could help you, trauma therapy may be able to help.

Over the years, I've helped many people with many different kinds of traumas find healing and peace. My clients discover that it is possible to live with joy and freedom after trauma has thrown them off course. They often find new passion and purpose on the other side of their pain.

How Trauma Therapy Works

Trauma therapy consists of 55-minute, one-on-one sessions that help you work through your concerns. In addition to listening, I will share what the science tells us about what's going on for you and offer thoughts when it's helpful; I play an active role. Here’s how it will work step-by-step:

First, I provide a safe, accepting space so that you will feel comfortable sharing your struggles with me.

Through hearing your story, I will start to get a picture of what your challenges are.

We will begin with helping you with immediate concerns like managing difficult emotions and challenging life situations.

We will also work to resolve trauma symptoms, getting to the root of your pain (I am trained in EMDR, CPT, and PE).

Over the course of our sessions, you will start making progress towards the life you desire.

Research shows that trauma therapy can positively change your thinking, beliefs, emotions, and behaviors.
